Peter Van Hoesen's 'Trusted EP' features three heavy-hitting techno tracks, including a killer remix by Berghain/Ostgut Ton's Norman Nodge. This EP is available on 12" vinyl and digital formats. To celebrate its 10th anniversary SMart is organizing the SMartival, a festival for its 20000 members and for the general audience. The SMartival takes place from 22/11/2008 until 29/11/2008, at the Pathé Palace in Brussels. Foton is responsible for the conceptualization and the artistic program of the SMartival. Micronomics festivalFoton is lending a hand to City Mine(d), assisting them in the organisation of their 'Micronomics' festival. 'Micronomics' is a 3-day event held in Brussels (30/04, 01/05 & 02/05/2008). The main theme is the city's social/informal/creative economy. An open stage is part of the festival's programme. This open stage provides artists, urbanists, researchers the opportunity to express his/her interpretation of the festival's theme. More info: Micronomics. Below 20On March 17 2008 Bent Object will start the creation of Below 20, a performance based around notions of control and subliminal influences. Research for this new Foton production has been going strong since March 2007. The results of this ongoing research are now publicly available on the Below 20 blog.
